The PIA of NC is a proud sponsor of the Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) professional designation program. These three, one-day workshops teach practical “before”, “during”, and “after” sale techniques for insurance producers, sales managers, account managers and company marketing representatives. Completion rule, 3 years from first course. NO EXAMS. You do not need to commit to all three to attend one.
Participants leave with ideas that will produce increased sales results immediately.
To Maintain the CPIA designation: fulfill a bi-annual update by attending one of the three core seminars, a NEW Advanced Insurance Success Seminar, a Pro-to-Pro Retreat, or maintain an active Level 2 or Level 3 membership in the AIMS Society. The CPIA designation is approved by Utica Mutual as part of the premium discount program.
The AIMS Society is a national organization dedicated to providing interactive marketing and sales training, ongoing resources and networking opportunities to insurance professionals. www.aimssociety.org
No Test. Each course is approved for NC 6 hrs General CE Credits. While it is not required, it is recommended courses are taken in order.
Registration Fee per Course: Member: $185, Non Member: $210
Class time – 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
Additional Credits – 6 CE General Credits/class

Cancellations or requests to transfer a registration fee to another class must be submitted in writing. Written requests received within 7 business days of program:
- 50% processing fee to cancel
- 25% processing fee to transfer to another class.
Written requests received in excess of 7 business days will incur no penalty.
No refund for registrants that do not show up. No penalty for the substitution of one person for another.
